Terms

The short, plain rules for using ProtoNote. Last updated July 21, 2026.

The service

ProtoNote hosts prototypes you upload and lets people you share them with leave notes. We work hard to keep it fast and available, but it’s provided as-is, without warranties — don’t use it as the only copy of anything important.

Your content

What you upload stays yours. You give us only the permission needed to host it and show it to the people with your share links. You’re responsible for having the rights to what you upload and for what you share.

Acceptable use

Don’t use ProtoNote to host malware, phishing pages, or illegal content, to harass people, or to attack the service. We can remove content or close accounts that do — with notice unless the situation makes that impossible.

Accounts and paid plans

You must be at least 13 (or the minimum age in your country) to create an account. Reviewing is free and never requires an account. If you buy a paid plan when one is offered, the pricing page describes exactly what you get and what happens if you cancel — that page is the contract, and cancellation never deletes your work.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, our liability for anything arising from the service is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Changes

If these terms change in a way that matters, we’ll note it here with a new date. Questions: support@protonote.io.

Made for sharing what you just built.
